Loft Digital and Health Foundry are delighted to invite you to our Digital Health networking event. This will be a hybrid (in-person and virtual) event.
Arrival (either in-person or virtually) is from 17:30. At 18:00 Nick Nettleton and Helen Akoni from Loft will be giving a short presentation on ‘Five design considerations for a digital health MVP’.
It will be an informal event with plenty of time for networking and Q&A. Drinks, Pizza and other light refreshments will be provided.
This is the fifth in a series of networking events run by Loft Digital and Health Foundry.
Loft is a team of specialist consultants and developers of digital systems with a particular expertise in digital health and cloud systems. We work with organisations of all sizes from startups to global brands on projects both large and small, acting as a strategic technology partner and an extension of our clients’ teams.
Nick Nettleton is founder and CEO of Loft Digital. He has been designing and developing usable, data rich web applications since the late 90s. He founded Loft in 2007 as a specialist consultancy in the field, at the vanguard of the new digital economy. In just over a decade Loft has helped many businesses conceive and develop new digital products and services that have disrupted and then led their industries – including the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 winner Cyclescheme. Today Nick is especially interested in how the same concepts can be applied to healthcare to empower patients, accelerate research, and support health services.
Helen Akoni is the Product Lead at Loft. She has a Biological and Biomedical Sciences degree from Cambridge and an MSc in Health Informatics from Leeds. Helen has worked in digital health for over 10 years, including for Medisoft, the UK’s leading supplier of electronic records for ophthalmology, and macusoft, a startup developing clinical decision support system for the optimal management of preventable sight threatening eye conditions. Helen’s expertise includes designing clinical software and data pipelines, implementing and managing software in a healthcare setting (she has worked with 40 NHS Trusts`), integrations with other clinical systems, data migrations, data extraction for research and data analysis and visualisation.
Health Foundry‘s mission is to support and accelerate digital innovation in healthcare. We provide a supportive ecosystem and physical space for digital health startups to create and adopt scalable digital health solutions.
